Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing; at least 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department (ED) setting is essential.
• 1+ year of previous critical care nursing experience required.

Certifications/Requirements

• Certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
• Must be willing and capable of assuming charge nurse and preceptor roles as needed.
• Travelers with any actions on their license or background will not be accepted.

Role Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the patient care team responsible for delivering both direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process. Responsibilities include:

• Assessing patients during admission and throughout their stay.
• Administering IV medications, therapies, and blood as necessary.
• Providing patient education and ensuring thorough documentation of nursing care actions, observations, and patient responses.
• Offering comprehensive emergency care and support within a full spectrum of emergency services, including a dedicated Chest Pain Center.
