Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Physical Therapist to join our team. This position primarily focuses on outpatient care, with some inpatient evaluations as needed.

Shift Details

• Shift Length: 8 Hours
• Days: Monday – Friday
• Shift Time: 8 AM – 5 PM
• Weekend Requirements: Minimal, approximately once every 2-3 months for 1-3 hours
• Holiday Requirements: None

Responsibilities

• Treat 8-12 patients per day in 30 to 45-minute blocks.
• Manage a caseload primarily consisting of orthopedic cases, along with a small percentage of general weakness and neurological conditions.
• Provide evaluations for acute inpatient and swing bed patients, though the majority of the workload will be handled by a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
• Maintain a clean and professional workplace attire or scrubs.
• Clock in and out at the facility for all shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a certified Physical Therapy program.
• 1 year of experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) as per AHA guidelines is mandatory.

Team Environment

The Physical Therapist will work alongside a Physical Therapy Assistant and report to the staff Physical Therapist Manager. Collaboration and teamwork are essential for providing high-quality patient care.
