Registered Nurse (RN) – Transplant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our transplant specialty team. This role involves providing essential nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing pre and post liver transplant and small bowel transplant procedures, as well as patients in the hepatology unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care, including management of lab tests, imaging requests, and phone triage.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support patients and families throughout the transplant process.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Stay current with healthcare regulations and advancements in transplant care.

Schedule

This is a full-time position, working weekdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

• Valid DC RN licensure must be held upon application.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric pre/post liver transplant, small bowel transplant, and hepatology.
• Prior completion of a travel assignment is required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Ability to float to other transplant units as needed.
