CT Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a dedicated team within a dynamic medical setting. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient care in both inpatient and outpatient environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and related imaging procedures.
• Ensure that all images meet quality standards and are accurately processed.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient treatment plans.
• Maintain the imaging equipment and facility standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure patient comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to stay updated on the latest technology and practices.

Schedule

This position requires variable eight-hour shifts from 06:30 to 15:00 or 14:00 to 23:30, Monday through Friday, with a commitment to working 2 to 3 weekends per month.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• MUST possess national certification in CT.
• ARRT certification required.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is highly preferred.
• Comfortable working with a diverse patient age group, including adults, geriatrics, neonates, pediatrics, infants, and adolescents.

Work Environment

The role will involve rotating duties between an acute care setting and an outpatient imaging center. The facility is recognized as a Magnet-designated institution and serves as a teaching facility.
