Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The ideal candidate will assist patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving their treatment goals, in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in educating patients regarding their condition and developing home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control measures, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Possession of an active state PTA license or the ability to obtain one.
• Proven ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
