Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines. The incumbent will play a crucial role in evaluating patients, developing tailored treatment and discharge plans, and delivering therapy aimed at enhancing independence in daily living skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients based on physician orders and referrals.
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
• Document services accurately and in a timely manner.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with practice acts and facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Master of Occupational Therapy or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy).
• Active state Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.
