Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide quality physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role involves assisting patients in restoring mobility, improving functionality, and achieving their treatment goals in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately.
• Assist patients with education and implementation of home exercise programs.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility to obtain.
• Ability to follow established treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
