Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary

Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. Assist patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving their treatment goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment effectively.
• Assist with patient education and the development of home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control measures, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state Physical Therapist Assistant license (or ability to obtain one).
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams effectively.
