Occupational Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines. This role involves evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment and discharge plans, and facilitating therapy sessions aimed at enhancing independence in daily living skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients based on physician orders and referrals.
• Develop and continuously update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
• Accurately document services in a timely manner.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with practice acts and facility policies.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams and families to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD).
• Active state Occupational Therapy license or the ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrated strong clinical skills alongside effective communication and documentation abilities.
