Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide essential therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The ideal candidate will help patients develop and restore functional independence in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assist with education for patients and their families.
• Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or the ability to obtain one).
• Strong collaboration and patient care skills.
