NICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated NICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract with an opportunity for extension. The position requires holiday coverage and may involve floating to other departments as well as sister locations within a 12-mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
• Float to other departments and facilities as necessary based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using relevant electronic medical record systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Level IV NICU.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is required.
• Recent travel nursing experience is preferred.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.

Work Schedule

This position is for day shifts, requiring three 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. Minimal to no requests for time off (RTO) are accepted.
