Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role requires a skilled professional who can operate effectively in a dynamic surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of the operating room environment to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver exceptional care before, during, and after surgery.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and perform interventions as needed during surgical procedures.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding preoperative and postoperative care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.

Schedule Requirements

Work schedule includes:

• Day shifts: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 3 days a week.
• Every third Friday rotation is required.
• Floating between multiple locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
• Previous experience in an Operating Room setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to work in multiple locations as required.
