CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the cardiovascular operating room, ensuring a safe and efficient environment during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient conditions pre- and post-operatively to ensure optimal recovery.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Assist in the coordination of surgical procedures while adhering to safety protocols.

Shift and Schedule

The position requires a 4×10 hour day shift schedule, with the expectation of on-call coverage at least two days per week and 1-2 weekends every 6-week schedule as needed. Additional overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CVOR nursing.
• Ability to float to other units as needed based on census demands.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.

Additional Information

• Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
• Free parking available for all staff.
• Start date is anticipated to be three weeks after the signing of the contract.
