Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapeutic services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role involves assisting patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving their treatment goals in compliance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
• Assist with patient education and development of home exercise programs.
• Communicate regularly with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control measures, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state Physical Therapist Assistant license (or ability to obtain one).
• Demonstrated ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
