Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide essential support in delivering physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This position plays a crucial role in helping patients restore mobility, improve function, and achieve their treatment goals in accordance with state and federal regulations and organizational guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
• Assist with patient education related to therapy and home exercise programs.
• Effectively communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control measures, and compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Possession of an active state PTA license or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
