Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiac and peripheral services. This includes collaborating with a diverse group of specialists, including Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and General Surgeons.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of procedures in the Cath Lab, such as Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, and atherectomy.
• Assist in carotid diagnostics and stenting, as well as peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Support pacemaker insertion, tilt table tests, kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostics.
• Monitor patients in the Cath Lab using advanced devices including the Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various atherectomy devices.
• Ensure proficiency in monitoring LEXISCAN stress tests.
• Utilize Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and McKesson software systems, including CPACS, Cardiology, and Hemodynamics.
• Participate in pre- and post-procedure care, including patient transport and assistance as assigned.

Work Schedule

This position offers a 4-day work week with a guaranteed 36 hours. The nurse will rotate call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, with on-call expectations set at 7 days a month, not consecutively. Weekend requirements are limited to on-call coverage only.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience is required.
• Recent traveler experience is preferred.
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) is preferred.
• Active Oklahoma state license or compact license.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) and NIH certification.
