Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

Job Description

This position follows a clinical interview process where candidates can expect timely outreach. Decisions regarding applications are typically made the same day or by the next business day.

Under the supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor and the Cardiopulmonary Manager, the Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) will provide patient care activities in critical care areas, including adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care. The CRT will also be responsible for training respiratory therapy personnel in these specialized areas.

Shift Notes

• 12 Hour Night Shifts
• Weekend rotation required
• On-call rotation required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – required
• Experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – required
• Active Oklahoma Respiratory Therapy License – required
• College diploma or official transcript – required
• Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy – required
• Compliance documentation must be submitted one week prior to the start date

Certification Requirements

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• BLS (Basic Life Support – AHA)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support – AHA)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support – AHA)
