Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Medical Surgical Oncology specialty. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a preference for those with travel experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a stepdown/neuro unit.
• Effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes as necessary.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Float to other medical-surgical and telemetry units as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in medical-surgical settings.
• Preferred travel nursing experience.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Proficiency in Epic electronic medical records (EMR) within the last 18 months.
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts, consisting of three 12-hour shifts weekly, from 18:45 to 07:15. Block scheduling is not available.
