CVOR Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Technician to join our surgical services team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures, including robotic surgeries.
• Participate in patient care during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure the availability of necessary surgical instruments and supplies.
• Float within the facility as needed and assist in the Main Operating Room.

Shift Details

The position requires working day shifts, specifically 3 shifts of 12 hours each from 06:30 to 19:00, with the possibility of weekend shifts.

Holidays and Time Off

Travelers are expected to work on major holidays during their assignment period as follows:

• If one major holiday falls within the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it.
• If two major holidays occur, the traveler should work both.
• If three major holidays coincide, the traveler is required to work two of them.

Major holidays include:

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Years Eve/New Years Day

Compliance Requirements

Full compliance is required to ensure a timely start. Any non-compliance may result in a delay of up to 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Additional Information

Please note that the number of non-billable orientation hours will be determined based on the contract length.

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers.
