Emergency Department Staff Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department team. This position offers flexible scheduling options, allowing for 36 or 48-hour work weeks in various shift configurations.

Unit Description

The role involves working in a fast-paced Emergency Department with the option for 3×12 or 4×12 shifts. A variety of scheduling preferences are available, including Day/Night rotation or straight nights. Orientation is available on two dates: November 2nd or November 16th.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on established protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and report any changes in patient conditions promptly.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills and decision-making abilities in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous experience in an Emergency Department setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying shifts and patient needs.
