Emergency Department Staff Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit Description

This position is for an Emergency Department Staff Registered Nurse traveler, available for either 36 or 48 hours per week. Candidates can choose between a 3×12 or a 4×12 work schedule, with options for Day/Night rotation or Straight Nights. Orientation options are available on 11/2 or 11/16.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures.
• Participate in emergency response protocols as necessary.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• Experience in emergency department settings preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
