Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional care during the night shifts. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and provide appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and implement patient care plans.
• Support patients and families through the childbirth process, including education and emotional support.
• Float between Labor and Delivery and mother/baby units as needed.
• Participate in departmental meetings and continuing education activities.

Schedule

This position requires working night shifts, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Shift times are from 19:00 to 07:30, with every other weekend and holiday shifts required as scheduled.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience preferred; 1 year of strong experience is accepted.
• First-time travelers welcome.
• Current MD RN or compact license required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NCC C-EFM (in hand at the time of submission), STABLE, CPI, NIH.

Additional Information

This position does not require on-call duties. All requests for time off (RTO) should be included at the time of submission.
