Medical Specialties Registered Nurse (RN) Traveler

We are seeking an experienced Medical Specialties Registered Nurse (RN) Traveler to join our outpatient services team. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to provide high-quality care to patients in an ambulatory outpatient setting.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience (within the last 12 months) in providing in-person triage and direct patient care for acute and chronic conditions in an ambulatory outpatient setting.
• Experience in telephone triage and telephone-based clinical assessment techniques is required.
• Experience with in-person triage and direct patient care for general or GI surgical patients is strongly preferred.

Endocrine Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience (within the last 12 months) in providing in-person triage and direct patient care for acute and chronic conditions in an ambulatory outpatient setting.
• Experience in telephone triage and telephone-based clinical assessment techniques is required.
• Preferred experience includes nursing visits in ambulatory endocrinology, diabetes, or medical specialty practice.
• Experience in administering injectable medications and conducting medication-teaching visits is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) placement and education, insulin therapy management, and self-management education is strongly preferred.

Work Schedule

The work schedule is either 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Certifications

• BLS certification is required.
