Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in the OB/GYN specialty. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake and record vital signs.
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
• Communicate with patients regarding their care plans and follow-up appointments.
• Manage medical records and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and processing insurance information.

Schedule

This position requires working from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM on Wednesdays.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Previous experience in an OB/GYN setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
