Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities to ensure quality patient care and efficient operation within the radiology department.

Schedule

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• 36 hours with variable weekends
• Holiday and call duties as needed
• Flexibility in scheduling based on department needs

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) is required.
• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college or equivalent military training.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting is required.

Licensure and Certification

• Currently registered as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible with R.T.(R)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire.
• Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in computer systems, including PACS and HIS/RIS.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must maintain confidentiality of information.
