Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This position involves implementing therapeutic interventions to assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions based on the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with education for patients and their families.
• Communicate the patient’s status to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
