Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). You will be responsible for assisting patients in developing and restoring functional independence in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions according to the OT plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with patient and family education regarding therapy processes and goals.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising OT.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
