Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position requires a dedicated professional who is prepared to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitor and assess patients throughout the labor process, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding labor, delivery, and post-partum care.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Float when necessary to other assigned locations as part of a flexible staffing model.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio or compact nursing license.
• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Willingness to float to multiple locations within the region, specifically Avita Ontario and Bucyrus hospitals.

Schedule

This position involves working night shifts, specifically 3×12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00.
