Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide essential services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in helping patients develop and restore functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions according to the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in educating patients and their families regarding therapy processes and goals.
• Communicate patient status and progress effectively with the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
