Registered Nurse – MS/Tele

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical/Telemetry to join our team. This position offers a structured and rewarding opportunity to support patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Shift Details

• Day shift: 3 – 12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Scheduling options: 4x12s, 3x12s, or 2x12s available

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient health, administer medications, and assist with diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and provide timely updates to relevant personnel.
• Conduct patient education and support them in managing their health conditions.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE current and valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• 12 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry required.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certification is required.
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to starting the position.
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required.

Additional Information

All candidates must successfully complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a medication safety assessment during orientation.

An acceptable score is required on both assessments to fulfill the role effectively.
