Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to work in a challenging and rewarding pediatric environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-level respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in various intensive care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings.
• Assess and monitor patients’ respiratory status and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Float to adjacent facilities as needed, including regional rehabilitation and NICU units.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RRT license required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in pediatric respiratory care, specifically in NICU, PICU, and high-level care environments.
• Certifications in NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS required.
• Experience with advanced respiratory therapy techniques and equipment.

Work Schedule

• Shifts: Night shifts available (3×12-hour or 4×12-hour rotations).
• All requests for time off and scheduling must be communicated during submission and interview.

Additional Requirements

• Completion of two fingerprinting processes: one onsite for facility requirements and the other through the agency.
• All work history, including any relevant positions, must be provided during the application process.
• Submission of all required certifications is mandatory at the time of application.
