Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-level care in NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings, primarily serving pediatric patients. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in neonatal and pediatric respiratory care and be capable of floating to multiple locations to meet patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients in various critical care settings.
• Assess and monitor patients’ respiratory status and therapy outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate and implement effective care plans.
• Flexibly accommodate floating assignments across multiple locations as necessary.
• Complete required fingerprinting for facility compliance prior to start.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RRT license required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in pediatric respiratory care, specifically in high-level NICU and PICU environments.
• Mandatory certifications: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS.
• Experience in advanced respiratory techniques and equipment used in critical care settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
• All work history, including any relevant positions, must be detailed in the application profile.
• Provide copies of required certifications at the time of application submission.

Schedule

Available shifts include three 12-hour shifts or four 12-hour shifts per week.

Additional Information

All scheduling requests and time off (RTO) must be communicated during submission and interview. Travelers will complete two fingerprinting processes as part of the onboarding requirements.
