Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide essential services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role is vital in helping patients develop and restore functional independence in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Accurately and timely document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Assist in educating patients and their families regarding treatment processes and progress.
• Communicate the status of patients to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols effectively.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
