Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

An experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse is needed to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be adept at assessing and managing acute patient conditions and providing critical support in emergency medical situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the emergency department.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure enhanced patient outcomes.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient responses to interventions and treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnoses and care plans.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the emergency room.
• Must possess a permanent Ohio registered nursing license or a compact state license at the time of application.
• Current AHA BLS/ACLS and PALS certifications required; certifications must be presented at submission.
• TNCC certification is preferred.

Shift Information

This position requires rotating shifts between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, working three 12-hour shifts per week.
