Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and delivery services and be dedicated to providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and their newborns.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for patients during labor and delivery.
• Monitor and assess the health status of mothers and babies throughout the labor process.
• Assist with deliveries and provide postpartum care as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about the labor and delivery process.
• Participate in ongoing education and training initiatives.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a 3×12 hour day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:30. The nurse will be expected to work every other weekend and every other holiday. On-call hours may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment preferred.
• Required certifications:
  • C-EFM (through NCC)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
