Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves providing patient care for individuals in a medical-surgical telemetry unit, ensuring their safety and comfort during recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care delivery.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Current and valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Shift Details

This position requires night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week.

Contract Information

This role offers a 13 to 18-week contract option.
