Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Shift Notes: 8-hour days, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM; 40 hours per week scheduled with 36 hours guaranteed.

Job Description

We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team for a position with a May start date. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, specific experience in Nuclear Medicine, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures and imaging.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals as per protocols.
• Ensure proper functioning of equipment and assist in preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procedures.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine; CT experience is a plus.
• Prior travel experience is strongly encouraged.
• Venipuncture experience is required.
• Valid New York State license is required.
• ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification is acceptable.
• Experience with GE machines is preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS is essential.
• Must have a personal vehicle for travel.

Additional Information:

• Non-billable orientation: 8 hours.
• Cancellation policy allows the facility to cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with a 2-hour notice.
• Requested time off during the assignment must be noted at the time of upload; only up to 5 days of time off may be accepted.
• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color (no designs or cartoons) are required.
