EEG Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled EEG Technologist to join our team. This role involves evening shifts and some weekends, providing critical services in an epilepsy monitoring unit. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience and expertise, particularly in stereo-electroencephalography (SEEG) and single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform EEG procedures and obtain accurate diagnostic results.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver patient-centered care.
• Assist in the monitoring and management of patients in the epilepsy monitoring unit.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols during procedures.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and skills training.

Qualifications

• MUST have a minimum of 3 recent years of experience in a level 1 trauma or teaching facility with expertise in SEEG and SPECT.
• Graduation from an approved school in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation.
• Pediatric experience is preferred.

Schedule

This position requires 8-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with some weekend requirements.
