Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Nurse to join our MS/Tele department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will possess the necessary skills and experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.

Schedule Options

Available shifts include:

• 4×12 hour shifts
• 3×12 hour shifts
• 2×12 hour shifts

Shift Details

• Day shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours each (07:00 – 19:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MS/Tele unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in MS/Tele nursing.
• Current and valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to the start date.
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty area is required for submission. Charge RN references are acceptable.

Additional Information

ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required for compliance.
