Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry unit for a rewarding 16-week contract. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a telemetry setting, ensuring patient safety and promoting positive health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Shift Information

• Shift: 3×12 hours, Nights 19:00 – 07:30.
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend, with a total of 4 weekends in a 4-week schedule cycle.
• Holiday Requirements: Must be available to work scheduled holidays.
• Floating: Required within the specialty and lower acuity settings as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active Maryland RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required, although first-time travelers are accepted.

Contract Details

• Contract length: 16 weeks.
• Hours: Options for either 36 or 48 hours per week.
