Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Contract Length: 16 weeks
• Shift: 3×12 Nights (19:00 – 07:30)
• Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (4 weekends in a 4-week cycle)
• Holidays: Required as they fall, as scheduled
• Floating: Required within the specialty and lower acuity as needed

Patient Care Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the following:

• Providing high-quality patient care for individuals within the telemetry unit.
• Monitoring patient conditions and responding to changes in status.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications

• 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted.
• Current Maryland RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications are required.
