Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are seeking dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) to provide services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). The focus of this role is to assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the OT plan of care.
• Accurately and timely document patient progress.
• Assist with patient and family education for improved understanding and compliance.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising OT.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license (or the ability to obtain one).
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
