Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing with a focus on providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients utilizing a team nursing model.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing timely interventions as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Document patient care activities in the EMR accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in patient and family education to enhance care continuity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a medical surgical role, required.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is mandatory.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Large hospital experience is essential.
• First-time travelers are not accepted unless they possess 5+ years of experience in the specialty.
• A valid nursing license compliant with NLC guidelines is required.

Schedule

This position is a night shift role, working 4×12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekend and holiday availability may be required as needed. Please note that block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated.
