Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. This position is for the night shift and requires a commitment to high standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will have recent and relevant experience in a Level I Trauma Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a team nursing model.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions and care plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry Unit.
• Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center is required.
• Travel experience is mandatory.
• Large hospital experience is preferred.
• LPN and Med Nurse will collaborate within the team nursing model.
• Must comply with NLC guidelines, and pending licenses are not accepted.

Additional Information

• Shift: Night 4×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:00)
• Weekend requirements will be determined as needed.
• No block schedules can be accommodated, although weekend block may be considered.
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.
• Local candidates will not be considered; a 100-mile radius rule is strictly enforced.
