Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Medical Surgical

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with experience in the Medical Surgical specialty to join our team. This position requires night shifts and offers an opportunity to provide patient care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
• Participate in a team nursing approach while adhering to established patient-to-nurse ratios.
• Assist in monitoring and managing patient health needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LPN license and be IV Certified.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Medical Surgical nursing is required.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma environment is essential.
• Previous travel experience in nursing is required.
• Experience in a large hospital setting is necessary.

Shifts and Scheduling

This position requires 48 hours per week, with the potential for 36 hours based on approval. Night shifts will be scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekend shifts may be required on an as-needed basis.

Additional Requirements

• No block schedules are accommodated; however, weekend blocks may be considered.
• This position is open only to professionals who reside outside a 100-mile radius.
• All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission, as post-offer RTO requests will not be accepted.
