Medical Surgical Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Medical Surgical Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of recent experience in a medical surgical setting, specifically in a Level I Trauma Center. The role involves providing essential nursing care to patients while working within a team-oriented environment, adhering to high standards of care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Registered Nurses and Patient Care Coordinators.
• Participate in patient assessments, planning, and implementation of care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and document changes as necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Position Requirements

• IV Certification is a firm requirement.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is required.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Large hospital experience is necessary.
• Must be able to accommodate a night shift schedule, working 4×12 hours.
• All required time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.

Additional Information

• Weekend availability may be required as needed.
• No block scheduling available; however, weekend blocks may be considered.
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted.
• Pending licenses are not accepted; candidates must comply with NLC guidelines.
