Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Long-Term Care (LTC) team. This position involves providing quality nursing care to residents in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Shift Details

• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts
• Schedules include three shifts one week and four the next
• Every other weekend responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess residents’ health status and respond to changes in condition.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
• Educate residents and their families on health conditions and care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) preferred.
• Proficient in using Electronic Health Records (EHR), specifically Point Click Care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
