Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the Acute Neuroscience Unit. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate and effective nursing care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to patients with neurological conditions.
• Monitor and assess patient health status, making necessary adjustments to care plans as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and care plans.
• Document patient care and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system is required; no exceptions.
• Availability to work a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week.
• Willingness to work every other weekend and two holidays throughout the contract period.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Shift Details

This position involves night shifts, including three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
