Job Description

The Ultrasonographer will perform a variety of ultrasound examinations and procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. The role includes operating diagnostic equipment and collaborating with healthcare providers to analyze the imaging results.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound examinations including but not limited to:
• US retroperitoneal abdomen limited
• Echo transrectal
• Scrotal
• Sono pelvis limited
• Prostate biopsy with provider
• Ensure high standards of patient safety and comfort throughout the procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and imaging documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with healthcare teams to facilitate optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Certification as an Ultrasonographer or equivalent.
• Proven experience in performing ultrasound examinations.
• Strong understanding of medical imaging principles and protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability to work at multiple locations, including one day in Newburyport and two days in Salem.
