Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of surgical suites.
• Monitor patient conditions and ensure proper documentation in the electronic medical records (EMR) system, specifically Epic.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a cardiovascular setting.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekends or holidays required.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic.
• Able to handle a typical workload of 5 cases per day across 13 surgical suites.

Additional Information

Scrubs will be provided, and a comprehensive floor orientation will last for one week. The position involves a structured work environment with clearly defined responsibilities.
